CAD/CAM is the hottest topic in the dental laboratory industry and keeping up with the rapidly changing environment can be a challenge. Please join us as we hear from these providers of CAD/CAM options: 3M, Sirona, and Nobel Biocare. Following a brief presentation of their “hottest” developments, the audience is encouraged to participate in a questions/answers session.

 

Stratius Fotos, BA, CDT completed his dental technology education in 1980 at the U.S. Nacy School of Dental Technology. In 1986, he obtained his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University . Strat is the president and owner of Creations Crown & Bridge Dental Lab, Inc., which is a beta testing site and specializes in CAD/CAM technology. His practical/technical approach teaches dentists and dental labs how CAD/CAM technology works and impacts their respective practices.

 

Trey Shadle graduated from the University of Texas system with a BBA in Finance and Marketing and a BS in Modern Languages in 1994. He was a Vice President of a Management Consulting Firm and then decided to go back to school to pursue a career in dentistry. He worked for his father in his private general practice in the Dallas / Fort Worth area for 5 years as his first chair assistant and office manager. Trey has been with Nobel Biocare since 2003 in the role of a Nobel Esthetics Specialist working with dental laboratories on the utilization of Procera technology.

 

Emily Fletcher Templet joined 3M ESPE in 2006 as a Preventative Care Consultant. Two years later, she moved to their lab division as a Digital Restorative Specialist, selling and speaking extensively across three states on the CAD/CAM industry. Ms. Templet graduated from Louisiana State University with a BA in English Literature and resides in Prairieville , LA.
