“Collaborative Effort in Treatment Planning Edentulous Patients”

Lecture will present how open minded communication and collaborative effort between the clinician and the laboratory technician would produce optimum outcomes for patients. Treatment options from conventional dentures to prosthesis with different implant attachment options will be discussed.

 

Dr. Alika Yu received her DDS from University of Buffalo in 1994 where she also completed a two-year GPR program. Dr. Yu completed a Prosthodontics residency in 2006 at the School of Dentistry @ LSU and later became the Director of Laboratory Services at LSU School of Dentistry. Since 2006, she has held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the School of Dentistry , Louisiana State University .

 

Edwin Kee BA, MCDT received his AS in Dental Laboratory Technology from the School of Dentistry at Louisiana State University in 1998 and received his BA in 1999. From 1999 to 2005 he was an Instructor in the Department of Prosthodontics at LSU School of Dentistry, Louisiana State University. Since 2005 Edwin has held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the School of Dentistry , Louisiana State University and earned his MCDT in June of 2007.

 

Suleiman Hamdan BA, MCDT received his AS in Dental Laboratory Technology from the School of Dentistry at Louisiana State University in 1999 and received his BA in 2000. From 2000 to 2011 he was an Instructor in the Department of Prosthodontics at LSU School of Dentistry, Louisiana State University. Suleiman earned his MCDT in 2009 and, earlier this year, became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the School of Dentistry , Louisiana State University .
