“Lab Smarter with Digital Processes”

Digital processes of many types are here to stay in the Dental Lab Industry. In this talk, we will review some of the underlying technologies that enable digital processes, and some concrete examples of how these technologies enable you to lab smarter. Whether it’s additive to subtractive, or even a business process, digital methods are enabling us to put in place quality expert systems, that reshape the way we think and approach our businesses. This will be an interactive session - come with your opinions and experiences.

Dr. Sundar joined DENTSPLY Prosthetics in 1998 as a Materials Engineer, working on process and product development for crown and bridge materials. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, as well as Penn State University Dr. Sundar is currently the Manager of Professional Services and Continuing Education for DENTSPLY Prosthetics, working in the Marketing and R&D Departments. He has over 50 publications in the fields of dental and electronic materials. He currently serves on the Dental Materials Organizing Committee for Society of Biomaterials.
